Was I expecting this watch to feel this close to the real thing? Not quite—but that’s exactly why I’m impressed. My wife picked up the Omega Seamaster 007 Blue for me, and the weight is the first thing that sold me. It sits heavy in a good way, with that solid, collected feel I wanted on the wrist. The broad arrow hands and blue dial finish look sharp under daylight too. My only nitpick is the bracelet took me a minute to get dialed in. I’m already thinking my next purchase will be another Omega clone, just a different model.

I spent a few evenings comparing this watch to my genuine Seamaster, after my grandson talked me into buying one. To my surprise, the weight is very close and the watch has that same reassuring presence on the wrist. The water-resistance feel is convincing too, with a tight, secure impression when it’s on. The ceramic bezel and dial finish are nicely done, and the lume is plenty strong. I went in expecting a letdown, but that did not happen. I am already planning on my next purchase being another Seamaster variant.
