What works and what does not
We would rather tell you this before you order than after.
- Works reliably: timekeeping, the 24-hour second timezone display in the centre of the dial, the date, and the overall dial and case finishing, which on a good build is excellent.
- Works with limitations: the Ring Command bezel rotates and selects functions, but the action is heavier and less precise than genuine.
- The honest caveat: the annual calendar month apertures are the part most likely to be simplified. On some builds the month indication is decorative rather than mechanically driven by the calendar. If that matters to you, ask us which build we currently have in stock and we will tell you plainly.
Anyone selling you a Sky-Dweller at $400 and claiming a fully functional annual calendar is not telling the truth.
What to check on the dial
The twelve month apertures sit just inside the hour markers and must align precisely with the markers above them. Misalignment here is the single most visible fault on this model, and it photographs clearly, so insist on a straight-on dial shot before approving. The fluted bezel on white and yellow gold references should have crisp, evenly spaced flutes with no softening at the peaks.
The Rolex Sky-Dweller clone references we stock
The 326934 in steel and white gold with fluted bezel, two-tone Rolesor, and full gold configurations across several dial colours. $1,000.
Before it ships
Each Sky-Dweller spends 24 to 48 hours on a timegrapher and we cycle the Ring Command bezel through every function position by hand. We photograph the dial straight-on so the month aperture alignment is verifiable, and we will tell you exactly which calendar functions are mechanically driven on the specific build in stock.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a Sky-Dweller super clone?
$1,000. Solid gold Franken builds cost substantially more.
Does the annual calendar work?
Partly, and it depends on the build. Timekeeping, second timezone and date are reliable. The month aperture indication is the element most often simplified. Ask us about the specific piece in stock and we will answer straight.
Does the Ring Command bezel rotate?
Yes, and it selects functions. The action is heavier than genuine.
Is the Sky-Dweller a good first replica?
No. It is the most complex Rolex in the catalogue and the one where replica compromises are most noticeable. A Datejust or Submariner is a better first purchase.
