The blue dial Milgauss is the subtler of the two colour options on this reference. The lightning bolt seconds hand crosses the blue field at lower visual contrast than it does on the black dial. Against the blue, the hand integrates into the dial rather than dominating it. The Milgauss has a case design and dial layout distinct from all current Rolex references. Rolex discontinued this model, and no equivalent exists in the current catalogue.

Where this build differs from the original

- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.
