The chronograph pushers sit above and below the crown alongside the Mega Tapisserie ground. The blue dial reads cleanly in daylight and deepens indoors. Contrast between the sub-dials and the main surface determines how easily the registers read at a distance. Check that relationship before the bezel. Then check that the eight hexagonal screws sit in the same orientation. The chronograph case wears heavier than any non-chronograph Offshore in this batch.

Where this build differs from the original
- Movement. A cloned movement built to the architecture of the original, not a genuine factory calibre. ZF Factory leads these, cloning the 3120 and 3126. Ask us which calibre is in the build currently in stock.
- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.

Was it a good gift? Absolutely! The brushed and polished case work really stands out, and the weight feels proper in the hand and on the wrist. Only tiny gripe is the box could have been a bit nicer. I’d buy again

5 stars. As someone who has handled the genuine Offshore a fair bit, I was relieved by how close this watch feels on wrist. The case proportions are convincing, with the bulk and stance I expected, and the weight has that solid presence without feeling silly. It does not come off as light or toy-like, which was my biggest worry. For a first purchase in this category, it gave me confidence straight away. Very good value for the money, especially if you want the look and wrist feel without going overboard.
