This places the chronograph function first. The three-register layout sits across the Mega Tapisserie ground. On a dial this dense, sub-dial contrast is the first thing to check, not the bezel. Photographs compress the depth of the Tapisserie pattern, and this matters more on a multi-register dial than on a three-hander. Check that the rubber pushers sit flush around each crown and chrono position. Bezel screw alignment comes after.

- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.

Was I expecting much from my first rep purchase? Not really, but this one surprised me. The octagonal bezel has the right look and gives the watch that sharp Offshore shape without feeling off. The integrated bracelet flows into the case nicely too, which was a big part of why I took the chance on it. Even the packaging had a proper presentation to it, so it didn’t feel like some random throwaway purchase. Pretty stoked with it overall. Next up, I’m already planning my next purchase
