The proportions are very well judged, with that strong Royal Oak shape sitting flat and comfortable instead of bulky or awkward.
The dial is the real eye-catcher. The tapisserie pattern has real depth to it, so it doesn’t just look printed or flat when you glance at it from across the room. Under softer indoor light it has one look, and then near a window or outside it shifts in a way that makes the purple come alive. It’s not flashy in a cheap way; it changes character as the light changes, which gives it some personality.
I also appreciate how the whole watch wears together. The integrated bracelet flows into the case nicely, and the proportions make it feel more refined than oversized. My wife/gift recipient opened it, held it up, and just smiled without saying much at first… then kept looking at it all evening.
