The Summer Edition sits in a reference group where the colour assignment is the whole point. Check the eight bezel screws first: they must all sit in the same orientation. The rubber-clad pushers and bezel give the Offshore its resistance to flex and sweat, and the Summer palette is built to read outdoors where steel and blue lose definition. The Mega Tapisserie squares are cut large enough to show shadow even in flat light.

The case has the right presence on wrist, and the bracelet sits well without fighting me. i’ve been wearing it through regular days, and it has been an easy daily-wear piece.

Bought this one to replace an older rep I got from overseas, and on first look it does a better job with the little things. The screw alignment on the octagonal bezel is tidy, which is one of the first spots my eye goes to on a Royal Oak Offshore. Compared with the genuine, it still feels like a clone, but not in a distracting way—mostly in the details only a watch nut would pick up. My only small gripe is the packaging, which was pretty plain. Still, I’d recommend it for the money.
