Arrived and opened it expecting the usual compromise, since my last rep just wasn’t cutting it. This one surprised me. On the wrist, it gives a more solid, water-resistant feel, and compared with the genuine, the overall shape and dial presence are closer than I expected. The bracelet has a good amount of articulation too, which helps it wear comfortably through the day. My only small nitpick is that the lume could be a touch brighter at first hit. Even so, it’s a strong replacement and I’d recommend it.

Could a clone at this price actually satisfy a picky collector? Yes, and then some. The ceramic bezel has the right look and feel, the helium escape valve detail is very convincing, and the packaging was clean and well done. I’d recommend it.
