I opened the box at my kitchen table in Portland and kept turning the watch under the lamp because the polished bevels caught every bit of light. On the wrist, it has that slim, easy feel I wanted for a daily piece, but the finishing is what really sold me. The edges are crisp, the transitions look clean, and the whole case has a depth that makes it feel much more expensive than it is. it just wears right, plain and simple. I’ve owned a few clones and this one is the first that made me stop comparing and just enjoy it. Next on my list is another Patek style piece for rotation.

Last Saturday I had this watch on before heading to brunch, and two watch guys at the table asked to take a closer look. The applied indices are the star for me—they sit proud, catch the light nicely, and give the dial that proper upscale presence I look for in a collector piece. The layout feels balanced and the overall finish makes the watch look far more convincing on wrist than most in this range. honestly, i kept glancing at it all day. For me, that’s the real test. It’s already in the daily-wear rotation, which says plenty.
