The 7118 has a narrower lug spread than the 5711. On a silver dial the embossed ridges become very visible: the light ground shows every texture. Silver on steel keeps both surfaces in the same cool register, with no warm pull from gold. There is no date aperture on the 7118 to interrupt the horizontal pattern. If the 5711 reads wide on your wrist, try this before you move to a different model entirely. The difference in proportion is the real story here.

Compared with the genuine, this watch gets a lot right in the dial texture and the polished bevels. The horizontal embossed dial has a convincing look, and the box presentation was neat for gifting. Only slight issue is the packaging felt a bit light. Should be fine for daily wear.

Arrived and opened it straight away, and I’m properly relieved tbh. The integrated bracelet sits close and feels right on wrist, and the dial colour has more depth than I expected. Only small nitpick is the clasp could feel a touch smoother. For the money, it’s solid value.
