The Air-King two-tone puts a gold bezel and crown on a steel case. The aviation dial stays the same on both metal versions: large 3, 6, and 9 numerals with a full printed minute track around the edge. The gold element changes the register of the watch without changing any function on the dial. Two-tone on the Air-King is an uncommon combination, and it sits between a full steel tool watch and a dressy reference.

Where this build differs from the original
- Movement. A cloned movement built to the architecture of the original, not a genuine factory calibre. Clean Factory leads the current sports references and AR Factory the older Submariners. Ask us which calibre is in the build currently in stock.
- Case metal. The genuine reference is a steel and gold combination. This build is plated over steel. Solid metal builds exist and are priced accordingly.
- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.
