Blue on a Datejust covers a wide range depending on the finishing. A sunburst blue shifts from near-black in shadow to a bright mid-blue in direct light. The date at three o’clock sits under the Cyclops and magnifies cleanly against the colour. This dial works on the Oyster bracelet as well as the Jubilee. If you choose the Jubilee, the small centre links pick up light alongside the dial and the two surfaces work together.

Where this build differs from the original

- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.
