Looking for something I could wear every day without worrying? This watch has fit that bill pretty well for me. I’m on the West Coast, retired, and I wanted a Day-Date look that wouldn’t sit in a drawer. The first thing I noticed was the presentation: the box and papers came together neatly, and it felt like opening something meant to be kept, not tossed aside. That matters more than people think, especially when you’re spending real money.
On the wrist, it wears comfortably and has enough presence to feel special without being flashy in a bad way. I’ve worn it to lunch, errands, and a couple of dinners, and it doesn’t get in the way. The balance is good, so it doesn’t feel like it’s pulling around during the day. My only small gripe is that I wish the papers had a slightly more polished look to them, because the watch itself comes off better than the paperwork does.

4 stars. Compared with my genuine Day-Date, the dial detail is better than I expected and the date wheel font is close enough to make me stop and look twice. The glide-lock clasp works smoothly. Only nitpick: the hands looked just a touch less crisp under bright light. Still a strong value.
