4 stars. I spent a good week swapping this watch in and out with my genuine Day-Date, and the thing that kept impressing me was the glide-lock clasp. It adjusts smoothly and sits secure, which matters more than people think when you’re wearing a heavy watch all day. The rose gold tone and overall presence are right there too. the only small gripe is the clasp action feels just a touch stiffer than the real one. Still, for a piece I can actually enjoy without babying it, this is strong. i’m already thinking my next purchase will be the matching steel version.

Arrived and opened it this arvo… straight away the ceramic bezel stood out. It has that deep, clean shine without looking plasticky, and the diamond dial detail is much better than I expected at this price. The chocolate dial catches the light nicely too. My only small nitpick is the date wheel font, which is just a little less crisp than I’d like on close inspection. On the wrist it feels properly special, and honestly that was the whole point of treating myself. When I showed my partner, she smiled and said it looked like a proper birthday present.
