Against the black field, the orange hand reads immediately and without any searching. The hand is the single vivid element on the dial. The Milgauss has no equivalent in the current Rolex catalogue and does not share its case form with any current reference. The black dial is the more direct read of the two colours.

Where this build differs from the original

- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.
