The blue dial Sky-Dweller is the most conservative of the three dial options on this model. The annual calendar fills one aperture beside an hour marker for each month: look at the positions carefully before assuming they are plain indices. The Ring Command bezel is a control for setting the calendar and timezone, not a scale for reading information. Blue here makes the complication display easier to read than harder.

- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.

Compared with the genuine one I’ve handled, this Sky-Dweller gets a lot right… the blue dial and overall presence are very convincing. The box and papers were a nice touch too, though the packaging could be a little more polished. My wife lit up when she saw it.
