The steel case on this Openworked puts the movement quality at the centre without colour distraction from the case material. The bridges and plates of the skeletonised movement sit inside a steel octagonal bezel with eight screws. Evaluate the bridge bevelling and the finish on the double balance wheel. A steel frame gives the movement a cooler, starker read than a gold case, and quality differences in the finishing are more visible.
