Picked this up as a little upgrade for myself, and the first thing that caught me was how nicely the bracelet sits with the case. The dial has more depth than I expected, and the finish on the hands is better than I figured it would be at this price. i was honestly expecting to pick it apart 😅 but it wears with a lot more class than I thought. The only small nitpick is the clasp feels a bit stiff at first. Other than that, it has become the kind of watch I can throw on without thinking, and it works well for daily wear.

Bought this as part of my collection, after spending time with the genuine 5296R and a few similar Calatravas. For a clone in this range, the horizontal embossed dial is the standout — it has the right visual texture and doesn’t look flat under light. The applied indices are cleanly done, with decent spacing and a tidy profile. Compared side by side, the overall impression is surprisingly close from normal viewing distance. Packaging was solid too, which helps when you’re adding it to a rotation. On the wrist, it’s easy to wear day to day without feeling fussy.
