I wore a rough old rep for two years, then swapped to this one. The applied indices pop straight away, and the dial looks much cleaner in person. It just feels like the better choice overall, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting an upgrade.

Looking for something that would feel special without being flashy? That was the idea when this watch came in as a gift, and it’s landed really well. The first thing I noticed was the horizontal embossed dial — it gives the whole face a proper bit of depth, and it changes nicely as the light moves across it. From a normal distance it has a very refined look, and the dial doesn’t feel flat or lifeless at all.
The bracelet sits comfortably and the watch wears slimmer than I expected, which helps a lot for day-to-day use. I also like the overall finish; the polished edges and the way the dial is put together give it a more serious presence than most reps I’ve handled. For me, that embossed pattern is the standout detail.
My only mild gripe is that the white dial shows fingerprints a bit easier than I’d like, so I end up wiping it down more often than I expected. Not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind.
As a gift, it went down very well. The recipient’s reaction said enough for me!
