Compared side by side with a genuine 5712, this one gets a lot right for daily wear. The dial has that same layered look from across a room, and the horizontal embossing gives it real presence without screaming for attention. On wrist, the thin profile is the big win for me. It slips under a cuff, sits low, and doesn’t feel like a chunky replica trying too hard. The integrated bracelet also helps the whole thing wear as one piece instead of a watch hanging off the wrist.
What surprised me most is how easy it is to keep on for an entire day. I’ve worn it from the train into the office and then right into dinner, and it still feels like the kind of watch you forget about in a good way. The applied indices and polished bevels catch light nicely, and the finishing is better than I expected at this price.
My only small nitpick is that the bracelet took a little longer than I hoped to get perfectly adjusted. Once it was set, though, it was a non-issue. For anyone looking for something that can actually live on the wrist instead of sitting in a box, this is strong. I’m already thinking about my next purchase from the same direction.

Really strong piece for the money. The integrated bracelet is what sold me first — the flow into the case looks right, and on wrist it has that clean, cohesive feel I was hoping for. I’ve spent time with the genuine 5712, and this gets a lot of the overall presence surprisingly well. The bracelet sits comfortably, the finish keeps catching light in a good way, and the whole watch just wears like something far above its price. The details are there in a way that makes it easy to enjoy as a collector. Will buy again.
