Compared to the genuine Wimbledon, this watch gets a lot of the important stuff right—especially the way it sits and how the Oyster bracelet feels in hand. The bracelet has a solid, comfortable drape, and the watch wears with real presence without feeling overdone. I also appreciated the box and papers; it made the whole unboxing feel a lot more complete. That first look was fun as heck—like opening something I’d been waiting on for a while. For a clone, the overall impression is strong. I’m already thinking the next one has to be the silver dial.

I picked this up after a long stretch of eyeing the real thing, and it honestly scratched the itch better than I expected. On the wrist, the balance feels right, the case finishing has that clean look I was hoping for, and the dial details hold up well under normal wear. Compared side by side with a genuine Datejust, the overall impression is impressively close. The watch has the kind of presence that makes it feel like a real step up for me. i keep finding myself reaching for it instead of my other watches. next on my list is the black dial version.
