A very strong piece for the money, and as someone who has handled a fair number of Day-Date style watches, the first thing that stood out was the cyclops. The magnification is crisp and easy to read, with the date popping the way it should. On this watch, that small detail carries a lot of the overall impression, and it gets a lot right. The yellow gold tone has real presence on the wrist, and the case finishing is cleaner than I expected at this price point. The bracelet has a solid feel too, with enough heft to remind you it is there without feeling awkward during a full day of wear.
The dial detail is also better than I was bracing for, especially under decent light, and the weight balance is well judged. I have owned pieces that felt top heavy or just plain off, but this one sits more naturally. My only mild nitpick is that the box and papers presentation could be a bit more convincing for collector eyes. Not a dealbreaker, just one area where it falls a step behind the watch itself. Overall, this is a satisfying addition to the rotation, and I would buy again.

Bought this in ATL for a birthday gift, and it really delivered. The ceramic bezel looks clean, the cyclops has solid magnification, and on the wrist it has the kind of presence you’d expect from a Day-Date. My brother was grinnin’ ear to ear when he opened it.
