- Case metal. The genuine reference is 18k Everose gold. This build is plated over steel. Solid metal builds exist and are priced accordingly.
- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.

Picked mine up after reading a ton of forum chatter and watching a few comparison vids, so I knew what I was looking for. The box and papers were decent overall, and the glide-lock clasp has a nice, secure feel once you get it set. Not too stiff, not sloppy.
My only nitpick is the clasp felt a touch tighter than I expected out of the gate. Nothing major, just took a little fiddling. Other than that, it’s a solid wear. I’ve had it on through errands and an evening out, and it’s been easy to live with day to day.
