Brown dial on Everose gold: the dial colour and the case share a warm tone, but the brown runs deeper and darker than the pink of the Everose. In direct sun, the combination reads as variations within one tone. In shade, the brown dial advances forward and the Everose case recedes. The Oyster bracelet carries the Everose finish across the full width of the wrist. The brown sub-dials are visible but they do not contrast hard against the main dial.

Where this build differs from the original
- Movement. A cloned 4130, not a genuine Rolex calibre. It reproduces the architecture of the original and it runs a working chronograph, which is the point of the reference.
- Case metal. The genuine reference is 18k Everose gold. This build is plated over steel, which is why it costs what it costs. Solid metal builds exist and are priced accordingly.
- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.

Compared side by side with my buddy’s genuine Daytona, this watch got a lot closer than I expected—especially the ceramic bezel. The finish has that deep, clean look and the markings sit nicely, not cheap or washed out. The overall presence on the wrist is solid and it doesn’t feel toy-like at all. My only small nitpick is the box presentation could be a little more convincing, but the watch itself is where it should be. For the money, I’d recommend it to any Daytona enthusiast who knows what to look for.

5 stars. Bought this as a gift and it was a hit right out of the box. The weight balance feels just right, the case finishing looks sharp, and the packaging with box and papers made it feel special when it was opened. I’d buy again.
