Two-tone with a gold-colored dial runs all three visible elements in the same direction: the dial, the gold bezel, and the gold bracelet links form a continuous warm tone. The steel case sides and outer bracelet links break that up, but only at the edges. At a distance, this reads as a gold watch. Up close, the steel sections are clear. The gold dial catches light the way a lacquered surface does: flat and reflective rather than deep.

Where this build differs from the original
- Movement. A cloned movement built to the architecture of the original, not a genuine factory calibre. Clean Factory leads the current sports references and AR Factory the older Submariners. Ask us which calibre is in the build currently in stock.
- Case metal. The genuine reference is a steel and gold combination. This build is plated over steel. Solid metal builds exist and are priced accordingly.
- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.
