Was I expecting much for the price? Not really, but this watch ended up impressing me. The dial detail is crisp, the date wheel font looks right, and the box and papers presentation was better than I figured. Small gripe: the packaging had a slight crease. For the money, it feels like good value overall.

4 stars — I bought this as a gift, and the case finishing is cleaner than I expected, with a nice sharp look on the wrist. The dial detail is solid too, and the glide-lock clasp makes sizing easy. Only nitpick: the clasp felt a touch stiff at first. He grinned when he opened it—said it was exactly his style.
