I picked this up thinking it would be another “close enough” clone that gets talked up for a week and then sits in the case… but it surprised me. The broad arrow hands are the first thing that caught my eye — they have the right presence, and they don’t look awkward or oversized like some cheaper versions do. On the wrist, the dial finish is what sold me. It has a clean, controlled look that reads more expensive than I expected, with a nice depth to it when the light moves across the face. I’ve handled a fair number of Seamaster-style watches, including one genuine piece, and while this isn’t trying to fool anyone at arm’s length, it absolutely holds its own as a daily-wear watch. My only mild nitpick is that I wanted the dial to pop a touch more in certain indoor lighting… still, it’s been a very good surprise overall, and I’d wear it regularly without hesitation.

The ceramic bezel looks great in person, very crisp without looking flashy, and the lume quality is better than I expected — easy to read without hunting for it in the dark.
