The 5396 white dial in rose gold is the warmest version of the reference. A white field reflects more light than gray or blue. Rose gold on the hands and sub-dials adds warmth to that reflection. The moonphase at six o’clock sits in the lower sub-dial against the white ground. Under soft light, the sector layout is legible and the sub-dial texture separates clearly. Against the gray-dial version, this one is brighter and warmer. The metal and dial work together rather than in contrast.

The packaging looked clean and well put together, and the watch itself came across nicely from the start. The horizontal embossed dial gives it a more interesting look in person, and the integrated bracelet sits comfortably without feeling bulky. My wife was happy with it, which mattered most. The only little thing is I wish the box felt a touch more premium. Still, for the price, it did the job and looked great on the wrist. I would buy again.
