The 5298P is platinum with stones set across the bezel in a paved arrangement. Each stone is set level to the next so the surface forms a continuous band. The scatter of light from the bezel changes with every angle of the wrist, which a polished metal bezel cannot do. Platinum reads cooler and denser than white gold. The round case outline stays intact. This is the formal end of the Calatrava range, where the stones are part of the case structure.

5 stars. I spent a lot of time comparing this Calatrava 5298P Diamond to photos and handling notes from the genuine piece, and this clone got me past the point of hesitation. The integrated bracelet sits cleanly and looks right with the case, not like an afterthought. What impressed me most was the dial color depth, which changes subtly depending on the light instead of looking flat. On wrist, it has the same composed feel I wanted.
