The 5811/1G is the larger Nautilus in white gold. The case is wider than the 5711, so the horizontal embossing has more area to develop across the dial. White gold sits colder than steel in tone: no warm shift from rose gold, no warm undertone of yellow gold. The porthole ears, the case body, and the bracelet read in the same cold-grey register throughout. Choose this over the steel 5811 when you want the case to read as precious metal without the warmth of rose gold.
