The 5140 white dial in rose gold shares the high-legibility front of the yellow gold version but changes the case temperature. Rose gold reads warmer than yellow gold in indirect light and cooler under direct light. White and rose gold became a common combination in more recent production. Against the yellow gold white-dial version, this one reads as the more current of the two. Both have the same four sub-dials and moonphase sector arrangement. The decision between them is in the case tone alone.
