The RM055 Carbon is the base colourway of the reference: a dark carbon TPT case with no accent colours on the skeleton dial. The forged carbon grain is the only surface detail on the case. Each case carries a unique marbled pattern from the compression process. With no accent colour on the bridges, the grain and the bridge finishing carry all the visual work. Check that the grain shifts under angled light, and confirm the spline screws sit flush before anything else.

Compared side by side with the genuine, the first thing that stood out was the tonneau case shape… it has that same curved, muscular look that makes the watch sit properly rather than feeling boxy. I picked it up as a gift and was honestly impressed by how convincing it looks on wrist. The overall presence is spot on for something in this style. My only small nitpick is the finish on the edges, which could be a touch sharper. Still, for gifting, it lands very well and feels more premium than I expected. It should work fine for daily wear too.
