The RM11-03 McLaren edition applies the papaya orange and grey palette from McLaren’s livery to the movement bridges and baseplate visible through the skeleton dial. On a skeletonized watch, a vivid colourway reads at a distance in a way it cannot on a closed dial. The flyback chronograph and annual calendar mechanism sit inside the tonneau. Examine the orange accents under both daylight and artificial light, because the tone shifts between the two. The spline screws must be seated flush and evenly spaced around the bezel.
