The NTPT carbon case in black is built from hundreds of layers of carbon fibre compressed at high pressure. The grain is directional and unique to each case. Under sharp light, the surface shows a pattern that shifts as the case turns. A printed pattern does not shift this way. The skeleton flyback chronograph dial is visible on both faces of the case. The black colourway across the NTPT case and the movement bridges makes the contrasting pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock stand out clearly.

Was it worth grabbing as a gift? Yeah, it really was. The skeleton dial has a lot more depth than I expected, and the tonneau case gives it that clean, bold look without feeling overdone. My brother put it on right away and said the rubber strap fit was comfortable from the start, which mattered more than I thought. Only small nitpick is the strap needed a little breaking in before it sat just right. Other than that, it looks sharp and got a good reaction. I’m already thinking about my next purchase.

Arrived and opened, and my first thought was that this watch feels more serious than I expected for a first replica buy. The rubber strap fit is secure without being stiff, and it settles on the wrist in a way that makes it easy to wear for hours. The weight feel is part of what sold me; it has enough presence to remind you it’s there, but it doesn’t come off heavy or clunky. on the wrist, it looks even better than it does in photos. The size and shape give it a strong wrist presence that stands out without looking cartoonish. I kept finding myself glancing down at it just to take in the way it sits and how the case carries across the wrist. For my first one, this was a very solid choice, and I’m already planning to pick up another in a different style next.
