Bought this as a gift for my husband after a long hunt for something that felt special without being flashy in a bad way… when he opened it, the first thing he did was just hold it up to the light and smile. The weight has that solid, reassuring feel to it, not heavy in a clumsy way, just enough so it sits on the wrist with purpose. He kept turning it over to look through the sapphire, and I have to admit, the transparency is what stood out to me too… clean, clear, and very easy to appreciate from different angles. It gives the whole piece a nice sense of depth without making it look busy. On his wrist it has real presence, the kind that gets noticed quietly. For a gift, that mattered more than anything. He also said it feels comfortable, which was a relief because he is picky about that sort of thing. Altogether, it looked far more expensive than I expected, and the value was very good for what we paid.

Was I expecting much? Not really, but this one surprised me. The skeleton dial has a lot more going on than I thought it would, and it looks sharp through the crystal. The sapphire transparency gives it a clean, open look instead of that cloudy effect you sometimes get. The rubber strap fit my wrist well right out of the box, which mattered because this was a gift and I didn’t want any fuss. it just felt right once it was on. For something bought with some doubt, it ended up looking much better in person than I expected. He’s already wearing it most days, so that says enough for me.
