I went into this expecting a poor imitation of my mate’s genuine Daytona, but the Scona surprised me straight away. The date wheel font is much closer than I thought it would be, clean and sharp rather than chunky or off. On the wrist, it’s easy to live with day to day — not too heavy, not too flashy, just has that proper presence without feeling awkward. I’ve been reaching for it more than I expected, which says a lot. For a self-treat upgrade, it’s been spot on—will buy again.

I remember opening the box and thinking of the old watches I’ve handled over the years… this one gave me that same little spark right away 🙂 The Oyster bracelet feel is what won me over first; smooth, solid, and comfortable in a way that makes you want to keep it on. Then I started studying the dial detail and the date wheel font, and both came across very well to my eye. It has that familiar Daytona character without trying too hard. Very happy with it… will buy again.
