4 stars. This watch has been on my wrist most days for two weeks, and it does a lot right! The cyclops magnification is clear and easy to read at a glance, which is what I wanted for quick checks during the workday. The glide-lock clasp is also a big plus; it adjusts well and makes the fit simple. My only small nitpick is that the clasp takes a little getting used to before it feels completely natural. Otherwise, it wears well and has real daily-use appeal. When I handed it to my brother, he looked it over and said he’d wear it in a heartbeat.

Arrived and opened it right at the kitchen table, and I could tell pretty quick this one was going to stay in the collection. The weight balance is spot on, not top-heavy or awkward, and it sits with that same planted feel I like in my better pieces. The Oyster bracelet has a solid, smooth feel on the wrist, with just enough heft to remind you it’s there without getting clunky. Compared to the genuine, it gets a lot of the presence right in a way that really surprised me. My buddy saw it and said, “Man, that’s clean,” which about said it all.
