Where this build differs from the original
- Movement. A cloned movement built to the architecture of the original, not a genuine factory calibre. Clean Factory leads the current sports references and AR Factory the older Submariners. Ask us which calibre is in the build currently in stock.
- Stones. The set stones are simulants, not mined diamonds. They are cut and seated to match the original layout, and they are not gemstones.
- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.

A couple weeks ago I finally decided to try this watch for everyday wear, and I’m relieved I did. I’ve always wondered if the cyclops would actually help or just be for show, and on this one it makes the date easy to read at a glance. The magnification looks clean and useful, not exaggerated. At night, the lume is a nice bonus too; it’s bright enough to check the time in the dark without fumbling around, which has come in handy more than once. Overall the watch has the kind of presence I wanted for daily wear without feeling fussy. The bracelet is comfortable, the dial has a sharp look, and it’s easy to put on in the morning and forget about until I need it. My only small nitpick is that the lume could hold a little longer before fading. It’s not a dealbreaker at all, just something I noticed. For the price, I feel pretty good about it and will buy again
