The set stones cover the full dial surface. When the light is right, each stone returns a point of light. When the light is flat, the dial reads as dark and textured rather than bright. That shift makes this dial less uniform than a plain lacquer, which looks the same in every condition. The black base under the stones keeps the overall tone dark. The day and date windows sit in the same field as the stones, which ties the layout together.

Where this build differs from the original
- Movement. A cloned movement built to the architecture of the original, not a genuine factory calibre. Clean Factory leads the current sports references and AR Factory the older Submariners. Ask us which calibre is in the build currently in stock.
- Stones. The set stones are simulants, not mined diamonds. They are cut and seated to match the original layout, and they are not gemstones.
- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.
