The 126518LN is yellow gold with a black Cerachrom bezel. A gold dial puts case, dial, and bracelet all in the same warm register. The black Cerachrom bezel is the only strong contrast element in the watch. In direct light the gold surfaces catch together as a single warm field. The tachymetric scale carries colour through the ceramic material rather than a surface fill. The Oysterflex holds the case flat against the wrist. This is the configuration where the bezel does all the graphic work.

Where this build differs from the original
- Movement. A cloned movement built to the architecture of the original, not a genuine factory calibre. Clean Factory leads the current sports references and AR Factory the older Submariners. Ask us which calibre is in the build currently in stock.
- Case metal. The genuine reference is 18k gold. This build is plated over steel. Solid metal builds exist and are priced accordingly.
- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.

Arrived and opened it tonight, and my first reaction was that it looks much better in person than I expected. The lume is bright and easy to pick up in a dark room, even after just a short time under indoor light. That was the part I was most skeptical about, since I have seen plenty of watches where the glow is weak or uneven. This one is solid. Right out the box, the bezel sold me. The ceramic has that deep, even sheen that catches light cleanly without looking cheap or overly shiny. On the wrist, this Daytona has that same strong presence I was hoping for, and the finishing around the case really helps it feel composed instead of flashy.
