The -0043 variant of reference 116518LN differs in dial treatment from the -0042, but both share the yellow gold case and Oysterflex combination. The Oysterflex molds over a metal blade, so the strap has none of the give of silicone. It sits flat on the wrist. Yellow gold with this strap wears differently than yellow gold on a bracelet: there is less visual mass below the watch, and the dial becomes the dominant element. Bought this one online after a long stretch of comparing it to the genuine Daytona I’d handled a few times. I was honestly expecting to pick it apart, but the dial detail surprised me right away.
