The 116503 pairs a steel case with an 18k yellow gold bezel, crown guards, and the centre links of the Oyster bracelet. That combination is the Rolesor approach: the outer bracelet links stay steel, so the watch does not read as fully gold from the side or the back. The gold bezel has enough surface area on a Daytona front to register clearly without a fully gold bracelet to support it. The two metals stay distinct.

Where this build differs from the original
- Movement. A cloned 4130, not a genuine Rolex calibre. It reproduces the architecture of the original and it runs a working chronograph, which is the point of the reference.
- Case metal. The genuine reference is Yellow Rolesor, Oystersteel and 18k yellow gold. This build is plated over steel, which is why it costs what it costs. Solid metal builds exist and are priced accordingly.
- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.
