A rose gold dial warms the character of the whole watch. The bracelet finish and the rider tabs all sit in a warmer colour range. Check that the rose gold tone is even across the dial from edge to edge: uneven plating shows as a visible colour gradient in natural light. The rouleaux bracelet must carry the same tone as the case. Look between the links for any cooler spot that breaks the consistent warm read. The four tabs must sit level.

Where this build differs from the original
- Movement. A cloned movement built to the architecture of the original, not a genuine factory calibre. Ask us which calibre is in the build currently in stock.
- Case metal. The genuine reference is 18k rose gold. This build is plated over steel. Solid metal builds exist and are priced accordingly.
- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 200 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.

Compared with the gen, this Breitling Clone gets a lot right for the money. The bezel action is smooth and has decent grip, and the rose gold dial finish has a nice depth in person. Only small nitpick: the click feel is a touch lighter than I expected. Still very happy, and I’m already eyeing my next purchase.
