Dark blue on the Super Chronomat B01 is the quietest read of the three blue Chronomat variants in this range. The dark dial recedes. The rouleaux bracelet and the four rider tabs come forward. Check that the tabs sit at equal height on the bezel. Then test the bezel rotation through a full turn: it must be smooth with no binding. Look along the bracelet in raking light and check for any link that breaks the rounded profile or shows a seam.

Bought this from a replica forum after a lot of reading, and for my first one I’m pretty pleased. The dark blue dial has a clean, even finish that catches light nicely without looking cheap. My only nitpick is the bezel could feel a touch firmer. I’ll probably grab another Breitling next.
