Arrived and opened it the second it hit my doorstep, and honestly I breathed out a huge sigh of relief 🙂 I bought this as a gift, so I was nervous about how it would compare to the genuine Aquanaut, but it looks really convincing on wrist and has that same clean, sporty feel. My guy has already worn it for errands and dinner, so the daily wearability is there. The only small nitpick is the packaging felt a little plain for the price. Still, he lit up when he saw it 😄

Could a watch make me grin like a kid… yes, apparently it can. The horizontal embossed dial on this Aquanaut clone is the bit that grabbed me first, and it has real depth instead of looking flat. Under light, it gives off that same lively pattern you notice on the genuine. I’m already eyeing the next one for myself… maybe something a bit dressier next time.
