The 126518LN is yellow gold with a black Cerachrom bezel. A white dial introduces a distinct third surface: black bezel above, white dial at centre, yellow gold case at the side. The three zones do not blend. Sub-dial contrast against the white field is high and the chronograph layout reads clearly. In flat light the white dial draws attention first and the gold case becomes the frame. The Oysterflex fixes the case position on the wrist and does not add bulk.

- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.

Could this really feel like a proper upgrade? Absolutely, and then some! I picked up this Rolex Daytona Clone as a treat for myself, and the first thing that hit me was the ceramic bezel. It has that rich, dark sheen you want, with a crisp edge that catches light in a very convincing way. The dial detail is where it really won me over, though. The printing looks clean, the layout feels balanced, and the little elements on the face give it a lot of character without looking busy. On the wrist it has strong presence, but it still wears in a way that feels easy for everyday use. I kept turning it over and back under different light just to take in the finish. For the price, it feels like a serious step up from the usual stuff I’ve bought before. Next on my list is probably something equally sharp, because this one has set the bar high!
