Meteorite dials are cut from the iron-nickel core of a real meteorite. The Widmanstatten crystal pattern that forms over millions of years runs in a different direction on every piece, so no two dials are identical. On a rose gold case the warm metal tone and the grey-brown of the meteorite sit close together in colour register. The three sub-dials punctuate the natural pattern. In changing light the crystalline surface catches from different angles. This dial does not photograph accurately.

Where this build differs from the original
- Movement. A cloned movement built to the architecture of the original, not a genuine factory calibre. Clean Factory leads the current sports references and AR Factory the older Submariners. Ask us which calibre is in the build currently in stock.
- Case metal. The genuine reference is 18k rose gold. This build is plated over steel. Solid metal builds exist and are priced accordingly.
- Water resistance. The genuine reference is rated to 100 metres. This build is not pressure tested. Treat it as splash resistant and keep it out of the pool.

The dial detail has that crisp look, the case finishing is clean, and the overall wrist presence feels very convincing. Even the bracelet has a nice, smooth drape that reminds me why ppl chase this style. For daily wear, it’s been easy to reach for without feeling overdone.
