Arrived and opened it the same night, and the first thing that stood out was the case finishing. The edges are clean, the polishing is well controlled, and it has a much more refined look than the rep I was replacing. On the wrist, it carries that Daytona presence without feeling overdone. the main reason i’m taking off one star is the clasp could have a slightly smoother action. Still, for anyone coming from a worn-out previous piece, I’d recommend this one.

4 stars. My wife picked this up for me, and the first thing I noticed was the bracelet. The Oyster bracelet feels solid without being stiff, and it sits better than I expected on the wrist. The date wheel font is clean and easy to read, which matters more than I thought it would. Only small nitpick is the clasp took a couple wears to feel fully broken in. Other than that, it’s a strong value for the money and looks the part day to day.
