Light blue sits closer to white than dark blue does. This dial reads pale in strong light and keeps a cool cast in shade. It suits a buyer who wants a pale dial but not a flat neutral one. The slide rule numerals must be evenly inked across the full ring. Check the outer edge of the bezel ring: print tends to thin at that point first. The bezel alignment test is easy to see on a pale ground.

Could a clone really feel this close? At first I doubted it, but the rotating bezel has smooth, confident action and the light blue dial finish has real depth, not that flat look I feared. For a collector, that matters. Easy one to wear day to day too.
